Setting up your own projects will more than likely mean that you need access to equipment. Whether you are looking for specialist kit, or items that are more generic, here are some suggestions of how you can access what you need as easily as possible.
Plymouth’s Library of Things
A Library of Things is a space where you can borrow useful items and learn how to use them. Instead of owning your own drill / sewing machine / data projector (or whatever), you hire it out for a small affordable fee.
The Borrow Don’t Buy collective have successfully opened Plymouth’s first Library of Things. You can become a member of the library (to get a discount), or borrow on a Pay As You Go basis. They have got an ever-growing library of equipment, including AV / sound / cameras / install kit and event decor. Check out their inventory for the most up-to-date listings!!
